I'm Carla, and I started SUP Tours Paphos in 2023, having done vast amounts of Paddleboarding in Cyprus and the UK. With my passion for the water alongside a hugely growing interest in the sport, I finally took the plunge and started offering Paddleboard tours, right here along the stunning Paphos coastline!
I bought my first SUP back in 2018 and learnt to SUP along rivers, harbours and in the sea along the South-West Coast of the UK, paying much attention to the weather, tides, current, swell, waves and wind!
In 2020 the family moved to Paphos (along with the SUP!) and I have explored a lot of the beautiful coastline, I have a good knowledge of the area and the surrounding seas.

Paddleboarding offers a real sense of escapism and freedom, and no better way to appreciate this than along the stunning coastline here in Paphos.
I want you to experience the same, so I intend to keep my tours small and personal with more 1-to-1 time to teach you how to use the SUP, and to ensure everyone is safe, happy and just generally enjoying themselves!

It's recommended to wear a swimsuit or clothing that you don't mind getting wet. As it's likely to be hot; sunscreen, rashvest a hat, and sunglasses are also recommended, however, do bear in mind that sunglasses tend NOT to float...!
No. A majority of the time we will be barefoot on the boards, but you can wear your own watershoes if you wish. Flipflops or beach shoes are recommended purely for the beach and can either be left on the shoreline or put under the bungy cord on the boards.
All the essential kit for paddleboarding is provided, you may just want to bring a towel and change of clothes for after the experience, along with lots of water or fluids.
It is recommended that all valuables are left in locked vehicles.
If there are any essential items you need to bring on the boards (e.g. inhaler) then these can be put in a drybag (provided).
Yes, as part of paddleboard kit provided, this also includes a life jacket or buoyancy aid. They are available in a variety of sizes.
It is required that you are comfortable being out on the open sea, and ideally you need to be able to swim 50 metres unaided. If you are unsure then a private 1:1 paddleboard lesson is strongly recommended - please ask for more details.
Yes, it is highly likely you will get wet! Either intentionally or unintentionally so be prepared! It's all part of the experience and the fun when paddleboarding in Cyprus!
Yes, to join a standard paddleboard experience the minimum age is 12 years, if accompanied by an adult.
Otherwise, the family friendly activity allows children from 8 years, as part of your private group and only if at least one adult or carer (18 years and over) is also participating.
No, all sessions require one person to a paddleboard.
The recommended maximum weight limit is 100kg, however, this is not a strict rule. As long as you are happy out in the water. Maximum paddleboard weight is 120kg.
No, there is no option to only rent a paddleboard. All sessions are escorted, whether it be a lesson or as part of a guided paddleboard tour.
